In March 2024, we established the Foundation’s Patronage Service.

Its main goal is to help children and adults adapt by teaching them essential skills and competencies that improve their quality of life and foster new habits. In the initial phase, if a family has been evacuated, the service’s coordinators personally accompany the parents to all necessary institutions to register as internally displaced persons (IDPs), restore documents, find schools or kindergartens for the children, and help register with the employment office. Each family works with a psychologist.

Currently, the Patronage Service focuses on the wives and children of fallen heroes, wounded and active military personnel, as well as the families of rescuers and medical workers in the Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. Every week, the service sends out between 50 to 150 individual care packages.

We provide systematic daily care for our beneficiaries—providing food, clothing, and shoes; preparing children for school and covering tutoring costs; organizing meetings with psychologists and ensuring treatment with specialized doctors; and arranging vacations for children at camps.

We support over 800 families on a permanent basis. However, the greatest achievement of this service is involving the families under our care in helping other families. This is now our primary focus.
