About the Project

In 2023, after another mission, we realized that humanitarian missions alone were not enough. This sparked the idea of creating a workshop where the children under our care could learn to work with simple hand tools.

In June 2023, we received donations from Timur Marchenko, Yevhen Chernyak, and seven other entrepreneurs. This was the starting point for establishing the “Master Studio.” In October 2023, our team received a grant from the RAZOM Charitable Foundation, marking the beginning of scaling the project—something we were ready for and had dreamed of.

From December 2023 to February 2024, our team traveled with the “Mission from St. Nicholas” project to cities and villages in the “red zone” of Kherson, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions. We conducted woodworking master classes for 320 children. In Kramatorsk, Kherson, Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, and other cities, children smiled for two hours and were distracted from the sounds of war. This was the most valuable experience for our team. We saw how important it is to continue working with children in this way.

Currently, the project is looking for a new master to replace Vlad, who recently joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We also aim to expand the workshop and continue holding master classes for children.
